In our 2009 Christmas Promotion we outlined our intention to make a donation to Charity rather than send out Christmas Cards.

We are very pleased to be able to confirm that as a result of our £250 donation  The Woodland Trust www.woodlandtrust.org.uk has dedicated

1/4 acre of the Great Knott Wood, Lakeside, Windermere to the customers & staff of Christchurch Powr Tools.

This ensures that the trust will take care and enhance that part of the wood in perpetuity. For those that may not know this particular wood, it is situated just on

the edge of Lake Windermere, definitley one of the most beautiful places in England.

This year we have decided that instead of sending out 100's of Christmas Cards we will be making a number of charity donations.

We will be supporting Help for Heroes who raise money to support members of teh Armed Forces who have been wounded in the service of their county.

We will also be donating to The Woodland Trust which is the UK's leading woodland conservation charity and whose aims include preventing further loss of ancient woodland & increasing peoples's understanding and enjoument of woods. Visit www.woodlandtrust.org.uk for more details.

As part of our move towards offering customers a wider selection of products we are pleased to now be able to offer the Iseki range of diesel ride-ons & compact tractors. We have a number of units available for demonstration purposes.

We are pleased to still be able to maintain a  2 week domestic turn around on machinery servicing. As always this remains dependant on us being able to obtain all the parts required. The new official Christchurch Powr Tools website was launched today. The new website includes a completely new design and represents a full online catalogue of the products and services we offer.

The new site which now includes information, detailed specifications and pictures of all new and used products will help the customer, research, gather information and get a price from the comfort of their own home.

The new look site was officially launched at 00:01 GMT 1st March 2007

We are pleased to have been able to have the new website constructed by Russel Dabner, the son of Stephen, our Workshop Foreman. We are very grateful to Russel for a job well done.
